Say-it Saturday
We invite You to the next “Say-it Saturday” with The Winnipeg, January 17.
“Say-it Saturday” is two or three sharing their stories of transformation.
Would you like to be a new man or woman? These men will show how Jesus can transform your life.
Jason Foster will be leading the praise singing.
Trevor Dennis will be offering the keynote story. His story in brief:
Raised near Wapella, Saskatchewan and later on the family farm near Wawanesa, MB, Dennis graduated from Brandon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science with a business minor. He worked with diverse technology groups, but has spent the last nine years as Network Operations and Help Desk Manager for a dynamic steel manufacturing company.
Trever and Thea, his wife of 16 years, have three children attending Christian Heritage School in Brandon. Trever serves as Vice President of the school board.
Trever and family attend Brandon Vineyard Community Church. Thea serves in children’s ministry equipping children for a life of intimacy with Jesus. Trever uses his skill actively managing the worship service soundscape; he also serves on the board of directors for the church.
Trever believes that even though we are sinners who have fallen short of the glory of God, we can through the Lord’s grace come to know Jesus in a real and meaningful way. Jesus gives us purpose, position, and victory over our circumstances. Trever believes in a gracious and compassionate God who loves us even when we fall to distraction, temptation and sin. He believes it is not by chance that the prodigals turn towards the road home, because God indeed calls His children by name!
Come hear Trever’s story of turning from stumbling and sin, to discovering the hope of what God has called him to, and the glory of God working in his life to make him a mirror reflection of the Father’s heart!
Malachi 4:6 reads in part, “He will turn the hearts if the father to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers….”
